Rodney Coriz is an award-winning jewelry artist from Kewa Pueblo, New Mexico. He creates distinctive inlay jewelry that blends traditional Pueblo techniques with a more contemporary style. Inspired by his mother, Nestoria Coriz, and his grandfather Lupe Pena, Rodney continues a family legacy of craftsmanship while developing a style that honors tradition while reflecting his own artistic vision. Rodney began by working with shells and natural stones, learning traditional methods passed down through his family. In 2002, he expanded his skills through silversmithing classes at the Poeh Cultural Center, which allowed him to bring sterling silver into his inlay designs.
