Wichita artist Dina Huntinghorse brings together high-grade natural Lone Mountain turquoise, sterling silver, and solid 14K gold in this exceptionally detailed handcrafted ring. The soft blue turquoise displays delicate natural matrix and is framed by a hand-cut 14K gold bezel, creating a refined contrast against the warm gold and sterling silver.
The ring face is constructed with a sterling silver base and solid 14K gold overlay. The gold is individually hand-sawn into an intricate design before being soldered over the silver, creating depth and detail around the stone while allowing the turquoise to remain the focal point.
The craftsmanship continues onto the band, where a solid 14K gold overlay runs through the center of the sterling silver and features individually stamped geometric designs. The exposed silver along each edge is carefully etched, adding texture and contrast. Together, the soft blue Lone Mountain turquoise and detailed gold-and-silver work create a distinctive one-of-a-kind ring that showcases Huntinghorse’s precision and craftsmanship.
