Dina Huntinghorse is an award-winning Wichita jewelry artist whose work is deeply influenced by the landscapes, wildlife, and traditions of the Great Plains and American Southwest. Growing up in southwest Oklahoma, she developed an early appreciation for nature, particularly horses, buffalo, wolves, and mountain scenery—imagery that would later become an important part of her jewelry designs.

Her creative path began with drawing and painting before she learned traditional beadwork from her aunt. In 1989, Dina began studying jewelry making under her late husband, Herbert Taylor, who taught her traditional Navajo techniques of inlay and overlay. After his passing in 1996, she continued creating jewelry while developing a style distinctly her own.
