The pendant combines carved tufa-cast texture with cutout overlay details. The necklace is finished in .925 sterling silver and bears Michael Perry’s MP hallmark on the back.

Michael Perry
Michael Perry was born in New Mexico in 1972 and learned silversmithing from his parents. His jewelry brings together traditional and contemporary design, often combining natural turquoise with tufa-cast sterling silver.
Tufa casting begins by carving a design into volcanic stone and pouring molten silver into the mold. Michael uses this process to create texture and detail that make each piece unique. His work has been carried by Native American galleries and museums throughout the United States, and he signs his jewelry MP on the back.
